Facebook is testing a payment system to give visibility to their status

If you think your supposed friends of Facebook do not pay muchattention to the updates of your status, here is something that may help you feel less neglected. Facebook, in fact, would be testing anew option open to all, not only to companies that can "upgrade"their status and make it more visible on bulletin boards in your contacts, in exchange for a bit 'of money.
The new feature, called "Highlights", allows a user to pay a few dollars for a single post to appear prominently in the feed of theirfriends. Apparently, for the moment, the function is accessible to alimited group of users to be tested.
In a statement, Facebook said:

"We are constantly engaged in testing new features on the site. Thisparticular test is simply a way to measure the interest of people towards this method of sharing with their friends. "

It 's difficult at present to say if it will ever become a highlight feature to everyone, but considering how Facebook is a megaphone tooverflowing ego, does not surprise us if such a function riscuotessesome success. So much for the poor "friends" who are victims ofpost-intrusive.
