No child workers in factories Samsung, but the working conditions are not good

Last month, an agency of control over work China has accused Samsung of using and exploiting child workers in his factories. Now a control Samsung has no record of child workers, but has discovered a number of other problems.

Investigating the HEG Electronics factory in Huizhou, China, which was the focus of the report published last month, Samsung has discovered some workers aged between 16 and 17 years, but they were students - workers, figures that are perfectly legal in China.

However, the survey revealed some questionable practices: poor management, a system of fines for delays and absences, overtime over local laws and inadequate measures for health and safety.

This would explain the high turnover that the factory records, approximately 30 percent per month. Most skeptics may think that the child laborers have been moved before the survey. Who can say?

Meanwhile, Samsung has officially notified HEG the need to improve working conditions and plans to carry out inspections of its 105 suppliers in China by the end of September. It 'a start.
