In August, we heard some rumors that Apple is preparing the future of its TV service. Today, however, Bloomberg reports some sources to the effect that this would not involve the launch of a new Apple TV later this year.
Last month, the Wall Street Journal reported that a new Apple device was in preparation, but it would be strictly limited by the ultimatum dictated by the companies that provide cable services.
The source referenced by Bloomberg, now says that the company would not be happy with these plans and then "not release a new TV product later this year."
The issue, apparently, is to choose whether to settle for a mediocre product now or throw something big further: Bloomberg thinks, understandably, that Apple will opt for the second choice. Given the care that Cupertino puts in launching new products and according to the bad news coming boobies negotiations for the TV service, delay in waiting for a better product seems to be the best choice.
